This exterior renovation to a two-story Victorian in San Francisco’s Lower Pacific Heights neighborhood adds modern sensibility to the beautiful historic structure. A revised entry sequence and specific design interventions create new life and vibrance.
New plastered concrete planters filled with decorative stone replace existing dilapidated retaining walls and allow for new landscaping. A new sand finish concrete driveway and landscape stairs lighten the tone of the existing hardscape. Light concrete pavers set in a bed of decorative mixed stone and new pathway lighting complement the existing ornamental stairway.
The new exterior touches brighten up the entry sequence to the home and revive the once-flourishing facade, bringing new life to the home and the neighborhood.
